The assistance is called "pedal assist," and it's usually measured in percentage (50% to 300%) or wattage.

Torque:
Torque refers to the rotational power generated by the motor, helping to accelerate the bike. It's a key factor in how an e-bike feels when you start pedaling. Higher torque provides stronger acceleration, especially useful on steep climbs or technical off-road terrain.

Watt-Hours (Wh):
Watt-hours represent the battery's energy capacity. For example, a bike with a 250Wh battery will run for one hour if the motor continuously uses 250W. In practice, the range will likely be longer as the motor doesn’t always run at full capacity. The larger the battery, the more range you get—though the battery size also affects the bike’s overall weight.
